My Story
In college, I operated a personal training business. Health and fitness was my passion, but I thought I needed to pursue a “real career”. I gave up my personal training clients to focus full time on law school, and over the next decade enjoyed what most would consider a successful legal career. In the beginning of my legal career, I prioritized school and work. My health and fitness took somewhat of a backseat. I sat at a desk all day and stopped running almost entirely.

After a few years though, I decided to refocus on my health. I started running again, ate better, and became more consistent and intentional in the gym.
The comeback wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.
I wasn’t 20-something anymore, plus years of sitting at a desk had wreaked havoc on my body. I kept getting injured because I was trying to jump back into the same routines and movement patterns I did when I was in college. I stayed consistent, focused on the right types of exercises, studied and continued learning about sports science.
Eventually, I got myself into good enough shape to run my first marathon. Through this process, I realized just how much I missed my career in fitness.

In 2021, after my dad lost his battle with cancer, I finally decided to take a leap of faith. I resigned from my position as a partner at a national law firm and jumped back into a career in health and fitness. Since then, I’ve grown a social media community of over 140,000 strong.
My dad’s passing was the ultimate reminder that our time is limited and we need to enjoy it while it lasts. And I sincerely believe that we get the most out of life by being active, healthy, and in forward motion.
